Azhee Organization, with support from IOM and the University of Dohuk, organized the World Suicide Prevention Day conference on 10 September 2021 at the University of Dohuk campus. The main theme of this year’s conference was “Creating Hope for Prevention through Action with Media and Academia,” focusing on raising awareness and encouraging action against suicide by engaging media and academic institutions. Special thanks to IOM for sponsoring the conference for the second time and to the University of Dohuk for providing the venue. I am also deeply grateful to the IOM staff for their overwhelming love and appreciation, as well as to all the attendees. It was wonderful to see you all again.
