We are proud to share that Azhee is planning to participate in the 33rd World Congress of the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP), taking place in Vienna, Austria – June 2025.
Azhee has been invited to contribute as a lived experience-led organization working on mental health and suicide prevention in Iraq. Our team will be presenting a poster session that highlights Azhee’s community-based, survivor-led approach and the power of turning personal grief into public healing.
This international gathering brings together researchers, practitioners, and advocates from around the world to share knowledge, experiences, and solutions to address the global challenge of suicide. We are honored to bring voices from Iraq into this important global dialogue.
